Preventive Vet Care
Wellness exams are a critical component in maintaining your pet's long-term health.
Combined with regular vaccinations, parasite prevention, and sufficient nutrition, these routine
examinations incorporate regular physical checkups to give your pet the best chance at excellent lifelong
health. When your pet comes in for their annual checkup, our vets can prevent health issues from
developing, or catch them early enough when they are most treatable.
Vaccine
At Noah’s Ark Animal Hospital, our focus is on the prevention of common disorders and diseases before
they have the chance to harm your pet. Combined with regular wellness exams, pet vaccinations and
parasite prevention make up the foundation of your pet's routine healthcare.
Proper preventive care allows your pet the chance to have a long, healthy life. Our team of vets will
work with you to design a customized preventive care plan for your pet, tailored to their needs.
Dental Care
Routine pet dental care is incredibly important for cats' and dogs' overall health. Unfortunately, most
pets aren't provided with the oral care they need to maintain healthy teeth and gums.
Our veterinarians offer your pets the complete dental care they need, from routine dental exams and
teeth cleanings to dental extractions and surgical procedures.
Dental health care education is provided to all our clients to help maintain their pet's oral health at
home.
Surgery
We see dogs and cats come into our hospital for a wide variety of surgical procedures. For each
operation, we follow stringent surgical protocols. A dedicated nurse will administer anesthesia during
each surgery and continuously monitor your pet using electronic patient monitoring equipment. We will
also provide pain management. Following surgery, our priorities shift to post-operative monitoring and
pain management. Your vet will also provide detailed instructions for at-home care.
Diagnostic
We offer advanced diagnostic testing (In house blood work, Digital radiographs and ultrasound) at our
in-house veterinary diagnostics lab. This allows our vets to provide an accurate diagnosis of your pet's
medical condition.
End of Life Care
We provide end-of-life care with compassion and love to make the experience as comfortable as
possible for both you and your pet.
Acupuncture
Laser Therapy
Acupuncture is a form of traditional Chinese medicine that can be used to help promote the healing process for cats and dogs by renewing the balance of energy throughout the pet's body. We offer veterinary acupuncture treatment for pets at Noah's Ark Animal Hospital to help relieve pain and to complement other rehabilitative therapies and techniques. Also, laser therapy for pets can help in many cases (osteoarthritis, intervertebral disc disease, lick granuloma, cellulitis and others) by promoting healing and reducing inflammation and pain.
